Crémant d’Alsace

The sparkling was very enjoyed during the german annexation (1871-1818), For 60 years it has only been produced by one compagny in Alsace. Since 1973 it gets a second youth and a specific appellation CREMANT D’ALSACE.

After a first fermentation in tanks, the wine is filled up in bottles witch lay for twelve months minimum in horizontal position, Then the bottles are slowly brough in vertical position by turning the bottles, so the deposit can be extracted.

 

Crémant d’Alsace Brut

Made with pinot blanc grapes  this crémant is dry with fine delicate bubbles. The wine is more fresh because its acidity is high enough and the sugar is not important. All the subtility of this wine appears through the fine bubbles in your flute. To be drunk in the youth.
