The hill SCHOENENBERG is famous for centuries, In their book « Topografia alsacia »in the 17th century the Merian brothers wrote : der Schoenenberg da der edelste Wein dieses Landes wächst (the Schoenenberg where the most nobly wine of this region growes). In the past the name was Schoenenberg and means beautyfull hill. More than 90 per cent of the wine is Riesling.

Dry. In this ten  years old wine, the fruity flavours are over and let their places to the typical mineral flavours of the Schoenenbourg. Perfect wine for amateurs of Riesling.

Semi dry.The high maturity of the vintage 2017 gave a deep golden colour to this full bodied wine, The fruityness still present and the minerality a little bit hidden by the sweetness come slowly to your palate and stay a long time. This mature wine can be drunk or kept.

Semi dry.Wine very close to the Riesling 2017, fruity , full bodied, well balanced with a long aftertaste this wine needs more time to be at its highest level. By aging they will be more important. Should be drunk with strong food like cheese Munster for instance.
